About This Recruitment

District Health Society, Godda has notified recruitment for 64 posts under Advt. No. 01/2026, dated 28 July 2026, with a corrigendum dated 31 July 2026. Applications are accepted online from 06 Aug 2026 to 30 Aug 2026. The prescribed qualification is Class 12 with a nursing, pharmacy or paramedical qualification, up to a postgraduate degree for the specialist posts, and the age limit is 21 to 35 years before category relaxation is applied. The vacancies are spread across 4 distinct posts, and the category-wise split for each is set out in the vacancy table below.
Selection is made through Scrutiny of applications, Merit scoring out of 100 and Written or skill test, followed by the remaining stages set out below. Selected candidates are placed in the pay scale of ₹10,000 to ₹49,500 a month, depending on the post. The place of posting is District Health Society, Godda, Jharkhand — under the National Health Mission.
The application fee is ₹400 for General, BC, EBC and EWS. The entire process is completed online, from registration through to fee payment and the final printout of the confirmation page. Check the notification for whether a correction window is offered, because most fields cannot be amended once the form is submitted.
Read the official notification in full before you begin the form. Eligibility, fees and dates are revised through corrigenda more often than candidates expect, and an application submitted against the wrong criteria is rejected at document verification rather than at submission — by which point the cycle is over.

Selection Process
Each stage is qualifying for the next. Clearing a stage does not carry marks forward unless the notification says so.
- 1Scrutiny of applications
- 2Merit scoring out of 100 — Class 10 marks (10), Class 12 marks (15), essential qualification (25), higher relevant qualification (10) and the written or skill test (40)
- 3Written or skill test — held only where ten or more applications survive scrutiny for the post
- 4Merit list — published in two parts, Part A for selection and Part B as a one-year waiting list
Exam Pattern
Understanding the marking scheme is worth as much as the syllabus — attempt strategy depends on the negative marking below.
| Section | Questions | Marks | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Class 10 board marks | — | 10 | — |
| Class 12 board marks | — | 15 | — |
| Essential qualification | — | 25 | — |
| Higher relevant qualification | — | 10 | — |
| Written examination or skill test | — | 40 | — |
| Total | — | 100 | — |
Sixty of the hundred marks come from your certificates before you sit anything. **If fewer than ten applications survive scrutiny for a post, no written or skill test is held** and the merit list is drawn from the education marks alone.
