Educational Qualification

Selection Process
Each stage is qualifying for the next. Clearing a stage does not carry marks forward unless the notification says so.

The preliminary paper deducts **0.25 for a wrong answer**, needs 40% to qualify, and shortlists about seven times the vacancies. Its **marks do not count towards the final merit** — the rank is built from the main examination alone, where each paper needs 40%.
