Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission has notified recruitment for 205 posts under Notification No. 05-PSC(DR-P) of 2026, dated 31 July 2026. Applications are accepted online from 01 Aug 2026 to 31 Aug 2026. The prescribed qualification is A master's degree with 55% and NET, SLET, SET or a qualifying Ph.D., and the age limit is 18 to 40 years before category relaxation is applied. The vacancies are spread across 3 distinct posts, and the category-wise split for each is set out in the vacancy table below.

Selection is made through Written examination, Document verification and Merit list. Selected candidates are placed in the pay scale of ₹57,700 – ₹1,82,400, Level 10 of the pay matrix. The place of posting is Government degree colleges across the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

The application fee is ₹1,200 for General, and no fee is payable by Persons with a health or physical challenge. The entire process is completed online, from registration through to fee payment and the final printout of the confirmation page. A correction window is available after applications close, and it is the only opportunity to amend most fields — details are in the dates table below.

Read the official notification in full before you begin the form. Eligibility, fees and dates are revised through corrigenda more often than candidates expect, and an application submitted against the wrong criteria is rejected at document verification rather than at submission — by which point the cycle is over.
