Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission has notified recruitment for 7,299 posts under Advt. No. 04/2026 (regular) and 05/2026 (backlog). Applications are accepted online from 31 Jul 2026 to 30 Aug 2026. The prescribed qualification is Class 12 with a D.El.Ed for classes 1 to 5, or a degree with a B.Ed for classes 6 to 8, with a qualifying JTET or CTET score, and the age limit is 21 to 40 years before category relaxation is applied. The vacancies are spread across 8 distinct posts, and the category-wise split for each is set out in the vacancy table below.

Selection is made through Written examination, Normalisation and Merit list, followed by the remaining stages set out below. Selected candidates are placed in the pay scale of ₹25,500 – ₹92,300, Level 4 for classes 1 to 5 and Level 5 for classes 6 to 8. The place of posting is Jharkhand.

The application fee is ₹100 for General and all other categories. The entire process is completed online, from registration through to fee payment and the final printout of the confirmation page. A correction window is available after applications close, and it is the only opportunity to amend most fields — details are in the dates table below.

Read the official notification in full before you begin the form. Eligibility, fees and dates are revised through corrigenda more often than candidates expect, and an application submitted against the wrong criteria is rejected at document verification rather than at submission — by which point the cycle is over.
