About This Recruitment

Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission has notified recruitment for 5,989 posts under IIE-54/2026-1962/OSSSC, dated 12 June 2026. Applications are accepted online from 13 Jun 2026 to 19 Aug 2026. The prescribed qualification is Class 12 with a GNM diploma or B.Sc. Nursing, Odisha Nursing Council registration, and Odia to Class 7 level, and the age limit is 21 to 42 years before category relaxation is applied. The vacancies are spread across 8 distinct posts, and the category-wise split for each is set out in the vacancy table below.
Selection is made through Written test, Provisional master merit list and Document verification, followed by the remaining stages set out below. Selected candidates are placed in the pay scale of ₹29,200 – ₹92,300, Pay Matrix Level 8. The place of posting is All 30 districts of Odisha.
The application fee is ₹500, refunded to candidates who appear for the examination for General, OBC and other categories, and no fee is payable by SC, ST and Persons with Disabilities. The entire process is completed online, from registration through to fee payment and the final printout of the confirmation page. Check the notification for whether a correction window is offered, because most fields cannot be amended once the form is submitted.
Read the official notification in full before you begin the form. Eligibility, fees and dates are revised through corrigenda more often than candidates expect, and an application submitted against the wrong criteria is rejected at document verification rather than at submission — by which point the cycle is over.
