Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission has notified recruitment for 839 posts under Advt. No. 737, Notification No. 06/2026 dated 7 July 2026. Applications are accepted online from 17 Jul 2026 to 15 Aug 2026. The prescribed qualification is A diploma, ITI certificate, National Trade Certificate or degree in the relevant technical field. The vacancies are spread across 6 distinct posts, and the category-wise split for each is set out in the vacancy table below.

Selection is made through Written examination, Onscreen certificate verification and Physical verification, followed by the remaining stages set out below. Selected candidates are placed in the pay scale of Levels 8 to 15 of the 7th Pay Commission matrix, depending on the post. The place of posting is Departments across Tamil Nadu.

The application fee is ₹150, valid five years for One Time Registration — all candidates, and no fee is payable by SC, ST, MBC, BC, PwD, Ex-Servicemen and destitute widows. The entire process is completed online, from registration through to fee payment and the final printout of the confirmation page. A correction window is available after applications close, and it is the only opportunity to amend most fields — details are in the dates table below.

Read the official notification in full before you begin the form. Eligibility, fees and dates are revised through corrigenda more often than candidates expect, and an application submitted against the wrong criteria is rejected at document verification rather than at submission — by which point the cycle is over.
