UPPSC BEO Syllabus 2026
The UPPSC Block Education Officer examination runs in two stages. The Preliminary is a single objective General Studies paper of 120 questions for 300 marks, each correct answer worth 2.5 marks with one third deducted for a wrong one. The Mains is descriptive and its marks decide the merit.

Negative marking. One third of a mark is deducted for each wrong answer in the Preliminary examination. Each correct answer carries 2.5 marks.
